But, I am pretty sure that one of my students has a crush on me. However, it's not the cute, "I am going to draw Miss Megan a picture and hope that she hangs it up" kind of crush. No siree! It's more like a "While Miss Megan is talking to someone, I am going to hit her arm with a heavy plastic dinosaur and hope that she looks at me or during lunch I am going to throw chunks of my roll at her head and then when she leaves to go on her break, I will scoot after her and get pink frosting all over my bum" kind of crush. Um, it's cute....sort of! What can I say, I like the kid?!
Oh, and have I mentioned HOW MUCH I LOVE MY CLASS this year?! I seriously do.
Let me give you a few examples why:
Batman and IronMan were two of my students yesterday. yep, Halloween costumes are already making an appearance.
One of my students looks like the boy scout from UP! Seriously so cute. I could just hang him on a charm bracelet.
All of my students are diggin peanut butter. My kind of kids.

A Goal....
At the beginning of the year, my friends and I all decided upon dates that we were going to get married to the man of our dreams.(Did that sound like we were all getting married to one man? Big Love style? Not what I meant) I picked September 23, 2010. If you didn't receive an invitation....don't you fret. No one did!
Instead I will be heading here
to dine on one of their tasty pork burritos and
then I will be heading off to do this:

Just a few thoughts or two....
I have been such a blogger slacker lately. I just thought that I would share a few thoughts of the last few weeks or so....
1. I LOVE LOVE my class this year. They are so cute.
2. I miss G. One of my students that was supposed to be in my class, but two days before G was to start, they pulled him out due to finances. I am still sad about it. That kid just made me happy.
3. While discussing possible Halloween ideas with my staff, they all decided on different rock stars that they were going to be. Guess who they decided I could be? Um...Mary Poppins? Really? Don't get me wrong, I love her, but isn't there a rock star out there that I could be?!
4. I started tap dancing again. It just makes my feet happy to be shufflin' off to buffalo.
5. Since I am currently not in school, I have a goal to read a book a week. I just finished reading, "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls. I read it in three days. It was so good!! I couldn't put it down.
6. Glee starts up on Tuesday. HOORAY!
7. Yes, I did watch every episode of Bachelor Pad. Am I trashy trashy or what?
8. I love Fall. It is probably my favorite season. I can't wait for the leaves to change colors and to start falling. I love running through them and crunching them with my feet.
9. I finally bought a new purse. (after my last one was stolen...sigh). I love it. It's big. It is probably bigger than my head.
10. One of my adorable students keeps calling me Mommy. That sort of makes my uterus hurt.
11. I am going to start volunteering as an usher for Capitol Theater. I think it will be super fun.

A story....
Once Upon a Time there were two lovely sisters......
And these lovely sisters worked together at this place. (they loved it and hated it)
They shared many good times together...spilling fry sauce all over the place, chasing each other around the dining room and having the lady from Maverick call to tell them to get back to work, eating food after hours and on and on and on. But, the one thing that they would chat about, while at work, was that someday they would move back in together, get a fancy red sports car, get really large, order jumbo hamburgers, and diet cokes. It was something that from time to time they would laugh about and remind each other that someday it would happen.

What the?
This was on the cover of my ward's sacrament program. I thought to myself, "What is a spaceship doing on the front." I even asked my friend about it. I then realized that it just might be the Liahona. Duh!
