So True!

A friend mentioned looking up her name on Urban Dictionary, so I did too.  Here is what it says about me. Not going to lie, but I tend to agree and it made me feel totally great.

The most amazing friend on the face of the planet. A Megan is there to laugh with you through the best times, and will even cry with you in the rain. She has her "blonde" moments... and can be quite clumsy... But once you get past her "Hi, my name is Megan." You'll find the most beautiful, amazing friend in the world. She works her hardest and isn't afraid to try new things. She will care for you when your at your worse. She is just simply amazingly beautiful. She loves to dance, laugh, and smile. She will do anything to help a friend. She is the most caring and loving person there is no matter how cruel the world can be. Megans are the best. <3>

A Megan is always awesome, period. If you haven't met three or more Megans by the time you're 15 you don't live in America. A Megan has a blonde streak, whether she wears it or not. She has a way of brightening your bad days. A Megan knows how to party like a rockstar. Megans hold pride in the fact that thier name is spelled correctly, without any "h"s, one "e", and one "a" in order. A Megan is always in the shadow of Megan Fox, so don't rub it in.

No one is complete without a Megan as a bff.

She is the sweetest person on earth, and is loved by everybody. She's very random, crazy at times and is the life of the party. She's the easiest person to talk to and she never judges anybody. She's intelligent, hilarious, loves to write and she is an amazing artist. She's incredibly beautiful inside and out, even though she doesn't know it. She's the most amazing friend I have ever met, and I'm so glad I met her. She's like a sister to me and I love her very much. Thank you for being my best friend. Stay strong   Look up your name and tell me what it says about you.  Is it true or not?

Funny kids

My students make me laugh on pretty much a daily basis. Here is a conversation that happened last week.

Teacher: What is the opposite of rough?

 Student: Toothbrush?

yep, it sure is. I laughed so hard.

Teacher: What is the opposite of wet?

Student: Dog.

During a social skills group with a few of my students, this little bit happened.

Social worker: What do we need to do to listen?

Student: Breakfast

Uh, I guess that could help, right?! Seriously, where do kids come up with the things that they say? I love it!

Validation

Because sometimes we all need to feel validated. You never know how your kind words can change someone's day. What if we all treated each other with kindness? This video is super sweet. Enjoy!

Happy Halloween

Sometimes, I like to dress up like I am Katy Perry (I've been told I look like her. I don't see it, but I am not offended) and pretend that I have lots of money, sing super duper well, go on tour and be all sorts of oddball, divorce the adorable, yet odd, Russell Brand, and hang out with Rhianna. But, that's only sometimes. Sometimes, I like to pretend that I am friends with Lady Gaga, Pink, and Black Widow. Every popstar needs to be friends with an Avenger. It's like a rule or something.

Should be my gay boyfriends...

I recently discovered Anderson Cooper's Ridiculist (so, I am way behind the times, get over it) and I laughed so hard.  He is a silver fox and is ok at laughing at himself. I just think he would be a fun fella to hang out.  Check out some of his other Ridiculists on youtube. So funny.

At such a tender age I fell head over heels in love with cute little Doogie Howser MD.  And then he grows up to look like this and plays for the other team.  I call NOT FAIR!  My Doogie Howser dreams were crushed for a moment. But, I decided to forgive him because he is easy on the eyes, is a fab singer and super de duper hilarious. Check him out in "Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long blog".  So, if Dr. Doogie ever wants a cute, Mormon gal to hang out with I just might be available.
