Pretty much Megan

If you are looking at this picture and thinking to yourself, "Megan got in another bar fight!" Have heart. I didn't. I have been doing my civic duty and donating plasma twice a week. Well, last friday, the person that stuck the needle in my arm either scratched the vein or it didn't go in all the way. Either way, when the blood was returning back, my arm started hurting....like "I think my skin is going to burst" hurting. The machine started beeping and someone came over to check on me. I said, "Um, this is hurting!" And she told me that my vein had been infiltrated, which means that the blood was not going back into me vein, but just hanging out. Whatever. I couldn't finish my donation, only got $10 (it's usually my $30 day), and ended up with some pretty gnarly bruises. All for the sake of helping out mankind. Man, am I a saint or what?
