She & Him
Miss Marie and I went to the last Twilight Concert at Pioneer Park. She & Him were playing. I like their music. I like the adorable Zooey Deschanel. I liked that she played some cool ukelele like instrument. I liked that the whole band jumped up and down as they sang. I liked that Zooey played the tambourine. I think I want to get one now, along with some bangs and a cool vintagey dress.
However, I did not like all the smells at Pioneer Park....beer, smoke (of different varieties), body odor, body function fluids etc. I did not like that I had to pull out my powers of feistiness and tell the tall boys to move because they were standing in my way...okay, I liked telling them, just a little bit.
But, overall it was most delightful. I had fun with Miss Marie and I enjoyed a very delightful concert. I would certainly go see them again. Check out the vid...
Ok, I think I am going to go watch 500 days of Summer.

A-ha!! aka meow meow Morten Harket!
A-ha , a fantastic 80's band and my first concert ever, decided to hang up their hats and bid fond farewell. They decided to play a few cities in the U.S, so my sister and I decided to be crazy groupies and go to New York to see them for one last time. It was so great! We even tried to get tickets for their Saturday show. I think the ticket lady got sick of telling us that they were sold out. We tried about 3 times. I even mangaged to still fit in my old concert shirt from when I first saw them!
Finally!!
A barbershop in Harlem.
The Dakota....apartment building where John Lennon lived and was killed. Guards stand there at all times.
The Manhattan Temple
9/11 memorial
If you watch "Project Runway" then you know this building.

The following is a text that I got from my sister. It's a conversation she had with her daughter.
Boo: How come you know so much about my life?
Mom: Because I am your mom
Boo: No, you aren't my mom. You are my mother.
Mom: What's the difference?
Boo: A mom is someone that is in their 20's. A mother is someone that is 30 and older.
